I’m Dr Miriam A Bibby, and I’m passionate about horses, history and archaeology. I spend as much of my time as possible combining these interests and writing about them. I’m co-editor in chief of Cheiron: the Journal of Equine and Equestrian History, and Vice President of the Equine History Collective, an international group of researchers. I hope you enjoy these pages which are devoted to the horse in history and archaeology – as well as its human. I intend to add reviews, journeys, videos and images to the web site as it grows. The fabulous image of the White Horse of Uffington was kindly provided by the Vale of White Horse District Council. Happy reading and happy trails! Miriam
